Blog May 13, 2016

CAM04_PSD_LR The new wing of the Montreal International Airport was inaugurated with great ceremony on May 12.

With an investment of 360 million dollars, this new jetty represents an expansion of more than 65,000 ft2, including 8,600 ft2 of retail space, six new boarding gates and all the exterior space needed to accommodate large aircrafts. Designed to give its millions of travellers an unforgettable experience, this new jetty integrates trendy boutiques and restaurants with a Montreal flavour, more than 1,000 seats equipped with charging stations as well as several artworks and graphic interventions showcasing Montreal’s dynamism and energy. Flooded with natural light thanks to its massive windows, the new jetty, built according to sustainable principles, might be eligible for a LEED certification. With this great achievement, the project team* from the consortium really gave passengers wings before they even board a plane.
